Paralegal Services

A paralegal works directly with an attorney, performing their work for the attorney but cannot work directly with the public as a paralegal. The Business and Professions Code Section 6450 redefines the role of a paralegal and governs the business of a Legal Document Assistant.

Legal Document Assistant (LDA)

A Legal Document Assistant is qualified by education and training and works directly with self represented litigants. In California a Legal Document Assistant is required to be licensed and bonded.

Why Hire An LDA?

A registered and bonded Legal Document Assistant can help you save valuable time and money. Here’s an excerpt from the California Association of Legal Document Assistants:

“. . . LDAs provide a low cost alternative to hiring an attorney for routine paperwork. In many cases, one visit will usually be sufficient for you to be able to handle most matters. . .”
